Extending ownership takes a well-rounded approach. Concept worked with the Municipality of Chatham-Kent to provide integrated governance and content process management by business units - extending the value of the solution.
They needed to move citizen service online. Concept partnered with the Municipality to offer an online facility booking tool for parks and recreation, a Provincial Offences Fine Payment tool, and a Patient Appointment Service.
It had to be many things to many people. The solution quickly obtained recognition as a world-wide best practice approach to community portals by offering a portal foundation for outreach and support for other agencies through shared services.
How do citizens see things? By understanding the end audience, Concept simplified the authoring process and connected a citizen-centric taxonomy to the foundation. It created a connected content framework for rapid growth.
